Home of the Bork Family

Kayla was born in the state of Colorado. It was a long journey from that early morning when we left our house for the hospital, until we finally brought our baby home. After about 20 hours of labor, Kayla arrived weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces and measuring 21 inches from the top of her very bald head to the soles of her sweet, pink feet. She had a lot of trauma from a very stressful birth and her nurses said it was a miracle that she survived. She was in the neonatal intensive care the first 5 days of her life and there were some very anxious moments. We were very thankful when we were finally able to take her home to live with us!
